Police Confirms Arrest Of Two High Profile Persons In Connection With The Killing Of 22 Soldiers

The Nigeria Police, Plateau State Command, on Saturday confirmed the arrest of two high-profile persons in connection with the ambush by bandits in Garga Community of Kanam Local Government Area , LGA where 22 Soldiers killed, including a vigilante personnel.
The Commissioner of Police , CP Ewah Bassey, made the confirmation while parading 22 criminal syndicates of various crimes in the state.
He said that the command swung into action immediately after the killings, and two persons are in their custody in connection with the ambush of the soldiers in Garga Community of Kanam LGA .
We couldn’t sleep over the incident, so we made a serious investigation, and they’re undergoing a thorough investigation, which is providing useful information.
However, he explained further that out of the culprits paraded are bandits, kidnappers using dangerous locally fabricated AK 47 rifles, pistols for their operations.
Bassey stated that the displayed weapons are used by criminal syndicates whose recovery was made possible by information gathering from the general public, that provide credible whereabouts of their hideout.
He disclosed that the robbery gangs,, kidnappers, rapping of underage children, and some of the suspects are from,Shendam, Langtang South, Jos North, in possession of dangerous locally fabricated guns, including Sara Suka soon to be arraigned in the court.
