Mrs. Hannah Eliyah Pinchime Expresses Hope, Shares 400 Wrappers To Women In Nemel Community

Mrs. Hannah Eliyah Pinchime has said it is with profound honour and a deep sense of responsibility that I extend my warmest felicitations to the Nemel community as you commemorate Nemel Day 2026 and confer well-deserved chieftaincy titles on distinguished sons and daughters of the land.
As , Nemel Community Traditional Council and the entire Ngas Nation in celebrating our people whose heritage is anchored in courage, dignity, industry, and an unyielding commitment to justice, unity, and communal harmony.
The Ngas people occupy an eminent and enduring place in Nigeria’s cultural and historical consciousness. Your agricultural ingenuity feeds the nation; your intellectual depth enriches our discourse; and your leadership continues to shape national development. Nigeria is stronger because the Ngas Nation stands tall.
The title of recognition of given to my wife ,Mrs Hannah Eliyah Pinchime as the Gimbiya Nemel or Rip Ngolong Nemel by Traditional Council as her positive contribution to the development of community .
He said, the honoured has prompted him to do more to the NDDA . One thing with this life is if you make it and you don’t care to support your community then you have not made anything impact .
According to him, ” to me ,God bless everybody to support his community so I think this will spur me to do a lot to my community because if this little that we have done and we get just this honoured just imagine if we do more to humanity ,we shall receive the reward from God .
“We have done a little that God bless us with resources and we furnished health sector and organized 50th birthday anniversary celebration in honour of my wife Hannah Eliyah Pinchime here over 400 rappers were shared to the women’s .
” We also pay school fees of some less privileged children in Nemel community by putting them on scholarship which actually torch their lives ,”he added .
Nemel Community Development Day is therefore far more than a cultural festival. It is a powerful reaffirmation of identity, a declaration of pride, and a renewal of the timeless values that have guided generations of Nemel sons and daughters through adversity and triumph alike.
The conferment of chieftaincy titles today once again affirms the Nemel philosophy that leadership is a sacred trust that is earned through integrity, selfless service, and unwavering devotion to the common good.
Yet, even in celebration, we must not avert our gaze from painful realities. The senseless and unprovoked attacks on Plateau communities in recent years resulting in the loss of innocent lives and mass displacement are indefensible and must never be normalised.
Speaking after receiving the title of Rip Ngolong, Nemel Mrs Hannah Eliyah Pinchime expressed joy for the honour bestowed upon her .
She said , Nemel Day is the through reflection of tradition and the way of life of our people ,the celebration bring us together to harness our people potential even though I’m not originally from this community but this also opened my eyes to see the accommodating nature of my husband people they like me and I like too .
Pinchime noted that the celebration promote healthy competition among the people and sharing of love , dishes and understanding the historical background of the people and accomplished through diversity .
She urged other women to emulate her , support and honour their husbands people
