The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Ibrahim Abdullahi Balarabe has announced the principal officers of the 7th Assembly.
This was coming barely a few days after normalcy returned to the State Assembly, which was a crisis-prone Assembly
The Member representing Keana Constituency, Adamu Omadefu on the platform of the All-Progressives Congress was named as Majority Leader.
Balarabe also announced a high-ranking Danladi Jatau (APC, Kokona West) as Deputy Majority Leader; Larry Ven-Bawa (APC, Akwanga North), Majority Whip, and Yakubu Azara (APC, Awe South) as the Assembly’s Deputy Majority Whip.
For the minority caucus, Luka Zhekaba (PDP, Obi II) was announced as Leader.
While a one-time Commissioner of Environment and Natural Resources, Hon Musa Ibrahim (NNPP, ) Doma South), as Deputy and Hon.Solomon Akwashiki (SDP, Lafia Central), Minority Whip and Musa Saidu Gude (SDP, Karshi/Uke) as Deputy Minority Whip respectively.
