Madugun Tafiya-Lafia, the state capital of Nasarawa State standstill for the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo as he clocks 64 years.
Those in attendance include the state Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, a member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Abubakar Sarki Dahiru, representing Lafia/Obi Federal constituency as well as a host of cabinet members.
Other eminent personalities include prayer warriors from the Jamatul Nasrul Islam and the Christian Association of Nigeria prayed fervently for long life and prosperity.
Hon. Gambo Manzo , the representative of the Vice President was present at the special prayer session.
Stephanie Oneshi Adams who represented friends of the Vice President appreciated the people of Lafia for the warm reception accorded the second citizen of the country.
The Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe in his speech said the prayer offered by the Vice President is a well-deserved prayer.
Dr. Akabe also extends the prayer to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, and Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule.
Hon. Hafeez Kawu represents Kano constituency in a goodwill message described the Vice president as a mentor.
He said the Vice president would commission a program that has a direct impact on the lives of the people of Nasarawa State
Kawu averred that the Vice president is concerned about the progress of the people of Nasarawa and Nigeria.
Also speaking, Hon. Abubakar Sarki Dahiru, the member representing Lafia/Obi Federal constituency for providing boreholes to the people of Lafia and its environs.
The member, however, appreciates the Vice President for empowering fifty women.
Gambo Manzo said the Vice president accorded N100,000 each to fifty women as empowerment.
He further said the Vice president has more to offer the people of Lafia and the entire state.
Mararaban Akunza, Kansakuwa, aroma, and Lafia South community would benefit from borehole’s, said Stephane, She added those units.
His Royal Highness, the emir of Lafia, retired Justice, Sidi Bage prayed for long life and prosperity for the Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo.
