6,000 People To Benefits From Free Medical Service In Plateau By Yakubu Busari ,Jos

About six thousands vulnerable women and children in Kwande ,Qua’anpan Local Government Area of Plateau state have benefited from  free medical treatment .

Peter Bawa foundation with Tina Bawa international ministries have partner to provide free screening on diabetic,hypertension,eyes glasses,Ebola virus,cancer and 20 bed capacity for pregnant women with the  renovation of the primary health centre to full capacity.
Rev. Tina Bawa who spoke to Journalists yesterday  said ,she was  moved  by the plight of those vulnerable people each time they came on vacation to her husband village .
Rev Bawa pointed out  that after given the people help to offset their medical bills  most of them dont buy the necessary drugs been  prescribed ,  they end up adding more problem to their health and many women lack ante -Natal   care .
According to her, the gesture was  to commensurate with the birth day of Dr Peter Bawa her husband in reaching out to less privilege one inthe society.
Rev. Mrs Bawa appealed to spirited individual to sacrifice little for the  betterment of other people who are living in rural community because of the level of poverty  in the society today .
She stressed that there are seven volunteering doctors with one from US including gynecology consultant with federal medical centre .
 As a  volunteer Mr Jimoh Anthony said ,” I was affected in the cause of providing my own contribution toward the well being of less privilege.
He said” I notice that money cannot solve the immediate needs of this people so I offer my service to safe lives” .
Anthony appealed to state and local government to provide the rural communities with medical facility because their immediate demand is good health care .
If government will pay attention to this vulnerable people the number of people rushing to access free medical care would have reduce ,he added.
He called on Local government Chairmen to meet up the medical demand of their people either monthly,weekly so that it will help many people, when you send money to the people they make used of its wrongly  .
Anthony lauded the organizers for the free medical service as the only  way to  contribute meaningfully in the lives others.
Dr Deborah Abah a global public health  from US expressed concern on the plight of African people which attracted the international community to sent some group of expert who will provide good health care delivery to teaming populace.
She emphasized that diabetes remain of one the fastest killer which African doctors are still battling to find cure ,adding the attention of the global world focus on hypertension and Ebola virus that causing great health challenge leading to many restiveness in the youths.
Dr Abah noted that Nigerian doctors are still challenged by the new medical technology which is not there so the embark on preemptive measure in treatment for many patients.
The village head of Kwande Mikom Peter Longbaam in his message appreciated the intervention of the wife of Peter Bawa for contributing positively to safe the live of his people.”
