5,000 Widows To Train On Small Business In Jos By Yakubu Busari,Jos
National President /founder quintessential Business women Association ,Chief Mrs Shimite Katung has revealed that the group focuses on the development of community based business in the Agricultural and solid mineral sector.
Over 5,000 quintessential business women association in the North central Nigeria who are widows converged in Plateau state.
The chapter of the game changers for investing in women is not only the right thing to do but ,it is the smart thing to do for a secured future of women.
According to her, the association was inspired by the quest and goal to change the way business is done by and for Nigerian women in order to effectively control agriculture and solid mineral industry within the next five years.
She emphasized more on her dream of promoting traditional African cuisine ,tourist attraction and culture as well as investment opportunities in rural financing which strategic for market women.
Mrs. Katung said poverty is one of the major challenges affecting women in African society.
While in Plateau state, she challenged all the women folk to support the women programmes that increases their per capital income . Mrs Katung promised to alleviate the plight of rural women with her projects which will reduce poverty among women in the rural community.
She encouraged the women to teach their youths to be vanguard of change in the society
