500 APC Supporters Defect To PDP In Plateau

About 500 people last week dumped the All Progressive Congress (APC) to the People Democratic Party ( PDP) in  Bashar Ward of Wase Local Government Area for lack of internal democracy and poor governance.

Spokesman of the decampees Dauda Musa told universalreporters247.com that they are decamping because the ruling party has been unable to fulfill its campaign promises to Plateau people and Nigerians in general.

He further stressed that the ruling party is unable to achieve anything but has been engaged in blame games and unhealthy propaganda as if it is an opposition to itself.

Musa lamented that the situation became critical and unbearable for those who the APC overwhelming support in 2015 but are now regretting it.

He also gave reason for their decamping to PDP which include poor representation and lack of any physical presence of the APC government especially in the area of infrastructure in their community.

However, it was gathered that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Safiyo Bashar Ward in Wase LGA of Plateau State has received 350 decampees from the ruling party, APC

The group  were received by Wase PDP L.G.A Chairman Hon Nasiru Abba, in Safiyo of Bashar Federal Ward and witness by  Stakeholders present -Hon Abubakar Muhammad Badu (Dan Malikin Wase), Hon Muhammad Zakari, Hon Saidu Musa,Hon Ilya Zakari, Hon Dayyabu Dauda, Muhammad Salihu Nyalun , Hon Nantim Yaro, Hon Sunday Liman.

“It would be recalled that the Congresses which was scheduled for July, 27th 2917 was full of irregularities lopsided doctoring of names of delegates by the top stalwarts of the APC leaving mass defection of its members to PDP”.

The Member Federal House of Representative representing Wase Hon Ahmed Idris Maje has been accused of abandoning and neglecting the people of his immediate constituency.
