22 feared dead in Jos South and Riyom LGA

No fewer than twenty (22) persons were feared killed by suspected gunmen in Kwata ,Jos south and Riyom  Local Government Areas  of Plateau state.

The people of Plateau state wake up on Monday with great shock and sadness, as community of Kwata witness large mammoth crowd of sympathizers coming in and out of compounds of those who were slaughtered and gunned down by unknown gun men.

Three families were  wiped  out completely on the surface of the earth by suspected  unknown gun men   on the 13th December ,2015 at about 9:pm  while most of those whom  the  killed include a nine year-old baby .

Also six persons were murdered in  Hwos community of Riyom Local Government Area  and several houses burnt down .

The Plateau State Police Command has confirmed the incident that the gunmen raided Kwata community leaving many casualties and several dead bodies.

The PPRO DSP Emmanuel Abuh said the commissioner of Police has deployed convention and mobile policemen to restore law and order to the affected community.

Abuh disclosed that normalcy has since return to the communities after the midnight attack in the two LGAs.

He appealed for calm by calling on the people to remain vigilant while going about their businesses in the state.
