22 Days After Dissolution of Cabinet In Nasarawa, Many Ex-Cabinet Members Refuse To Hand Over To Permanent Secretary

22 days after the dissolution of Commissioners and some Senior Special assistants and  Special Advisers, Fresh facts revealed that some of the ministries are operating on autopilot, the reason being that some of the commissioners are yet to hand over officially to their Permanent Secretaries.

 

It was authoritatively gathered that some of the affected ministries are facing serious impediments of the absence of transparency, prudent and open running of their offices.

 

The unfolding was as a  result of the non-inclusion of some approvals made by Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule during the eight months of the immediate past Commissioners.

 

An impeccable source says the Commissioner of the affected ministry insisted that due process and diligence must be the watchword of all the management staff, That is to ensure that all approvals are captured in the handover note.

 

A competent source who pleaded anonymity averred that the commissioners are not in the good book of the directors who are in a hiding war with the Commissioner that says the right should be done.

 

As of 10;45 am when selected Journalists visit the ministry, it was discovered that the Permanent Secretary has just one week to retire from service as of today September 22, 2021.

 

There are reports of some erstwhile Commissioners left their baggage in their former offices thinking of coming back, a heavyweight of the APC in a political event said only politicians that deliver their polling unit to All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming Local Government election slated for October 6,202l would be appointed as Commissioner.
