2019 Election: Nobody Go To Farm Under APC, Workers Welfare Is In Limbo-Ex-Deputy Governor

The former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa state, Professor Onje Gye-Wado has faulted the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress for the predicament Nigerians are passing through currently; saying Nigerian masses do not deserve this kind of treatment.

He blamed the APC led government for the looming insecurity ranging from Fulani headers and farmers’ conflict, adding that nobody is free to go to farm with the current rising spate of killings.

He stated this while speaking on behalf of the forum of Deputy governors during the official welcoming of Hon. Innocent Lagi ,a former Attorney General and Commissioner of Justice in the APC government in the state.

Professor Onje Gye-Wado assured civil servants in the state of the readiness of PDP if taken over the mantle of leadership come 2019 to accord premise to the welfare of civil servants and the masses.

Critical PDP movers and shakers in the state attended the meeting which was first of its kind aftermath of the defect of the party in 2015 general election.

Those in attendances include the immediate past deputy governor, Damishe Luka Barau, the deputy to Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura before his defection from APC to PDP.

Others in attendance are Michael Abdul, deputy governor to Aliyu Akwe Doma, Professor Onje Gye-Wado deputy governor to the first executive governor, Abdullahi Adamu.

Also the two senators of the people’s Democratic Party were in attendance, they are Senator Suleiman Adokwe representing Nasarawa South senatorial district and Senator Philip Aruwa Gyunka representing Nasarawa North.

Also two members Federal House of Representatives, representing Awe, Doma, Keana, Hon.Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo and Hon.David Ombugadu representing Akwanga, Nasarawa Eggon, Wamba were present.

Former minister of Information, Patricia Akwashiki, ex member House of Assembly, immediate past chairman, Chief Yunana Iliya, former council chairmen ,House of Assembly members to include Hon.Muhammed Baba Ibaku representing Udegi, Hon Muhammed Abdulkarim representing Wamba, Hon Tahir Alayi representing Karshi-Karu constituency including the two serving members of the Assembly, Hon Muhammed Okpede representing Doma north and Hon.Peter Mbucho, others are the immediate past senator representing Nasarawa North, Senator Solomon Ewuga, the party governorship candidate in 2015 election, Yusuf Agabi.
