2019 Election: Nasarawa APGA Promises A Level Playing Ground For Aspirants

The All Progressive Grand Alliance, Nasarawa state Chapter has assured all contestants of elective positions ahead of the party’s primaries.

Chairman of the APGA, Musa Saidu disclosed this in the state during an interview with selected Journalists in the State.

The Chairman buttressed that the party has aspirants contesting on its platform in all the 24 state constituencies, five Federal constituencies, three senates and governorship respectively.

“We would scrutinize our candidates for consensus when possible, if not, the party would conduct primaries to elect flag bearers in all the constituencies.

“We would present our best candidates in all elections because we would contest against candidates of other political parties.

“We would present our best team with very clear vision and programmes that would reposition the state for the overall benefit of the people,” he added.

Hon. Bala John, an aspirant vying for the position of Member Nasarawa State House of Assembly, representing   Nassarawa-Eggon East, expressed optimism that the party would form government given the quality of aspirants in the party.

He advised the leadership of the party to promote internal democracy in order to have credible candidates to avoid imposition that is common with other political parties.

Hon.John promised to offer the best representation to the constituency if elected in 2019 election.
