The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has vowed that the former Minister of Interior and governorship candidate of APGA in Imo State Captain Emmanuel Ihenacho would unseat Governor Okorocha in next year’s election.
Chief Umeh said this while officially presenting the former minister as the party’s governorship flag-bearer for Imo State during the just concluded APGA Special Convention held at Women Development Centre Awka, Anambra State.
Presenting him with the party’s flag, Chief Umeh remarked that Capt Ihenacho was the best candidate among all other governorship flag-bearers in the state promising to support the oil mogul to reclaim the party’s mandate from Governor Rochas Okorocha come 2015 general election.
Also at the occasion, the party formally adopted President Goodluck Jonathan as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2015 presidential election, amended the party’s constitution and ratified the appointment of Governor Willie Obiano as the leader of the party.

Other governorship flag-bearers presented at the occasion were Chief Alexander Otti for Abia, Senator Anthony Agbo for Ebonyi and Alhaji Abdullahi Shinkafi for Zamfara state.
