At least no fewer than 20,000 teachers in Plateau and Benue, will soon be render jobless by the two states government.
Plateau state governor Jonah Jang and his Benue state counterpart, Gabriel Suswam have been accused of using Teachers salary in their electioneering campaign for senate position.
Universalreporters247.com gathered that over 20,000 teachers will soon be jobless in Plateau and Benue owning to high degree of corruption and mal-administration where teachers have not been receiving their salaries and arrears.
The Plateau state workers blamed the Governor for playing the devil’s advocate with workers’ salary so that they can buy peoples vote with three months’ salary before election.
Resident of Plateau state ,Mr  Jonathan Gukut, a contributor on the Middle belt Social Media, called ‘the Middle Dialogue’ to cautioned the two leaders over their action which will bring under development to our people.
Reacting to the plight of Plateau state primary Teachers who are dying of starvation for non payment of salaries and teachers are force to pay  150,000 for biometry captured since March ,2014.
He expressed worried that if nothing urgent is done the two governors will contribute in destroying the future of many generation in their states.
It is also gathered that workers in Benue state are also having it rough with governor Gabriel Suswam where they usually get one month pay out of four months owned salaries monthly.
However the forum expressed sadness that in spite of this atrocities being committed by these governors no government appointees is saying anything for they do not care as they said ,but remember everything will pass away, May 2015 is around the corner
Sadly, these kinds of appeal are not echoed by people on this forum because it is well with most of them.
In his Contribution, one time Secretary of the Plateau state council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists,  “This is one area I expect men of God and leaders of thoughts, including politicians of value to speak out. Effect of such long delays in not paying salaries can lead to a security problem in its self”.
Reports say Over 2,000 Primary School teachers in Plateau State were last paid their salaries in March, 2014. And that these teachers are not on Strike.
These teachers are not sacked. The “crimes” committed by these teachers have not been communicated to them. These teachers are starving.

The right group headed by Barr. Nankin Bagudu has also condemned the act, saying owing a worker for more than eight months is a crime against humanity.
