There has been harvest of dead reported in Ancha Community of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State, as at least 20 people have been reported killed in a reprisal attack.
It was gathered that alleged gunmen has invaded Ancha as they went on rampage killing women and children in an alleged reprisal attack.
As learnt one Abubakar Wada of Dan Tanko village of Bass a local government area of the state was killed while returning home with his animals, before this present attack that left 20 persons dead.
The attackers that raided the Ancha community also chided the Miango people over the dead of their member.
The attack equally left many wounded, Sources say the attack, Thursday night lasted hours without security intervention ,the settlement of Ancha is few kilometers away from Rukuba barrack the headquarters of 3rd Division of the Nigerian Army.
The Police Public Relation Officer , ASP Tyovev Terna also confirmed the dead of Abubakar Wada whose remains was recovered by security officials after investigation .
