18 Cattle Killed, Community Leader Attacked In Plateau Vilage

Jos-plateau-stateNo fewer than eighteen cattle were reportedly killed on Monday night in Sho village, a Fulani Community in Barkin Ladi local government area of Plateau state by suspected gunmen.

Muhammad Adam Muhammad the Secretary of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association in Nigeria (MACBAN) in Barkin Ladi, revealed that the killed cattle belonging to Madaki Ahmadu Hari, adding that the case has been reported to sector 7 of STF in Barikin Ladi .

Also in a similar incident a community leader in Barikin Ladi two has been attacked by unknown gunmen who were shot severally at his residence.

The community leader Mallam Isyaku who spoke to newsmen yesterday said the gunmen stormed his residence at about 12: 30 midnight and started shooting sporadically.

Isyaku further lamented on the development saying they have been facing intimidation and harassment recently in the area, calling on the government to intervene on the matter and bring an end to it.

Recalled that on Tuesday morning there was another attack on a Mosque in same Barkin Ladi.
