17-Year Old Boy Dies During Interrogation By Kaduna State Vigilante In Zaria

A 17-year old boy Muhammad Sani Aliyu of Filin Mallawa Zaria has lost his life in the hand of Kaduna State Vigilante Service at Jan Labule Kofar Doka Unit  during interrogation for alleged stealing a mobile phone.

Speaking to Journalists in his resident the father of the deceased Aliyu Dauda said the incident occurred on Wednesday around 2.00pm when one Auwalu a butcher said late Sani stole his phone I as father I questioned him seriously and later I requested my friend Abubakar Dan Bakano to still talk to him if he knows of the phone whereabouts but still maintained his earlier stand that he didn’t steal any phone.

While Abubakar Dan Bakano mai fachi is questioning late Sani the Auwalu arrived with Vigilantes and take him away to their office Jan Labule Kofar Doka Zaria were he lost his life on the process.

The remains of late Sani was left laying on the ground in the Vigilante Jan  Labule office before Police arrived the scene and took it to ABUTH Shika .

Malama Hannatu Muhammad she is the mother to late Sani Aliyu and described him as the humble and honest he has never stole anything in his life.

She call for justice on those responsible of coursing untimely death to late Sani Aliyu .

Confirming the incident the Police Public Relation Officer ASP Muhammad Jalige said they will be transfer from Zaria to Kaduna for further investigation.

He said their Commander Alhaji Abubakar and 6 others were detained by the Zaria City Police Divisional Headquarters.
