15 Killed By Suspected Fulani Herdsmen In Taraba

At least 15 persons were killed in the early hours of Monday, when suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked residents of Donga Local Government Area of Taraba State, the incident also left more than 500 persons without a roof over their head.
Narrating the incident, an eyewitness said the gunmen first attacked and burnt Ayiase village in Takum Local Government before heading for Tse-Gbaun and Gaza villages in Donga.
Also the natives who their communities were affected also informed journalists that the gunmen who were heavily armed killed one Msugh Gaza and three of his sons in Gaza Village, while three other victims were killed in Tse-Gbaun and Ayiase villages.
Speaking further the eyewitness said; “The attack happened in the early hours of today (Monday), and the area is not safe as I talk to you, and as such, we cannot search for missing persons. But we have so far recovered seven dead bodies.”
Meanwhile the Police PPRO in Taraba State, Joseph Kwaji, also hinted that he has been trying to  talk with the DPO of Donga on phone for more insight into the incident  his phone has been off.
