Federal Govt.Urges To Alleviate Economic Hardship- Sheik Jengre

The federal, state and legislative arms of Government in Nigeria have been called upon to find means of alleviating the economic hardship on the common man in the country.

National Chairman Council of Ulama of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir, made the call in Jos, while fielding questions from Journalists at the end of the group working retreat.

He said the having understood the current economic situation of the country the federal and states governors should still consider; “spread the little resources at their disposal and ensure that its permeate down to ease the hardship on common man.”Sheikh Jingir extended the call to the national and states assembly legislators to join in the; “even spread of the resources,” to their constituents.

He said though fixing the right out of wrong as the present administration has embarked is so difficult on Nigerians; “but it requires patience and perseverance from the people,” believing that the right thing would be achieved at the end of it.

The Islamic leader tasked those in the helm of affairs in Nigeria’s Governance to ensure sincerity and prudence spending of the country’s resources.

Sheikh Jingir called on the federal and state governments to encourage Agriculture and other small scale businesses in the country. He called on Nigerians to support Government policies and also pray for the leaders in the interest collective good of the country
